Applicants who are not U.S. citizens or permanent resident aliens must meet the qualifications below in order to apply. This school is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students. English Proficiency
International students must demonstrate competence of the English language by one of the following standards: graduation from a secondary or postsecondary institution whose primary language of instruction was English or an equivalent level of English as a Second Language (ESL) program, or proof of successful completion of a minimum of two quarters of postsecondary coursework at an accredited institution in which English was the language of the instruction. Financial Resources
Applicants must demonstrate financial resources necessary to cover the cost of attendance. You will need to submit an official bank statement documenting these resources. If funding is to be provided by a sponsor, the bank statement must be accompanied by a letter in which the sponsor pledges his or her financial support. This official bank statement will have to be provided to your local U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate during your visa application.
Scholarships are available to international students who qualify and they are limited in number. To request a scholarship application, please contact the Financial Aid Director at financialaid@ciaml.com.
A deposit of 25% of the total tuition is required by Culinary Institute LeNotre at least one month prior to the start of the program (refundable if you do not attend the program).
Obtain a Visa
The diploma program requires international students to have an M-1 visa. While attending school, M-1 students cannot work or be paid for employment. Students can take advantage of unpaid internships to gain experience.
