Austin, TX February 2009. Culinary Institute LeNotre student Luz Maria Sarmiento took control of the Division early in the competition. Not only did she win the Wedding Cake category for 2009 but also triumphed in the Culinary Student Division 2009. Luz Maria graciously accepted the Division Trophy, 1st place medal and a check for $500.00.
