Retail Sales Associate

 Job Description:

 This position will be responsible for the operation of our in-house boutique.  The boutique is where our students purchase or receive their uniforms, books, knife kits and other supplies.  The retail sales associate will coordinate with staff, students and vendors to ensure that our students have the supplies they need to begin their classes.  The position will be part-time; however, longer hours will be required during peak times. 

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Take student pictures and assist with uniform fittings
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining student and staff ID cards
  • Develop relationships with vendors
  • Prepare orders for books, uniforms and supplies for student body
  • Receive and check quality of all incoming merchandise
  • Replenish stock items as necessary
  • Take credit card and check payments from customers
  • Keep records of student ledger card sales
  • Generate monthly reports
  • Take inventory once a month
  • Other tasks as assigned
  • Display floor plan and shelf organization
  • Forecast future needs and reorder goods/products

MARKETING COORDINATOR  

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position will be responsible for development and successful execution of sales and marketing events; preparation of materials for new product introductions and other presentations; execution of public communications and inside sales support. The Marketing Coordinator implements, facilitates and provides comprehensive and interactive marketing service support functions critical to the Admissions- Sales Department. 

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator  assist with administrative aspects of company events—such as attendee communication, event announcements, registration, on-site logistics, giveaways, transportation logistics, ordering of giveaways, logo wear and supplies.

Assist with administrative aspects of public relations and advertising—such as electronic posting of materials, stuffing media tour folders, recap report preparation, ordering and framing of articles/awards for offices worldwide.

Assist with administrative aspects of company branding, collateral and marketing campaigns—such as project management of print orders, fulfilling requests for logos/photographs, obtaining estimates, forwarding materials to printers.

Assist in preparation of various marketing events (Open Houses or information sessions). This includes: preparing mailing lists and mailings, assisting at events at the registration desk, and assisting with the logistics related to both marketing and recruiting activities.

Enter purchase requisitions for marketing expenses; add new suppliers, process invoices and expense reports for payment, track marketing expenses for budgeting and planning purposes.

Assist in preparing monthly marketing reports. This may include compiling data, creating reports in Word / Excel, creating graphs and presentations using PowerPoint or graphics software, or updating online tools and intranets. Interact, in a highly professional manner, with individuals, both internal and external to the company, for and in the absence of the executives.

Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

B.A. / B.S Degree in Marketing

Minimum 2 years experience in Hospitality industry a plus.

Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal.

Excellent interpersonal skills, energetic and self starter.

Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs; attention to detail is a must.

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments.

Strength with PowerPoint, and Photoshop for generating presentations; proficiency in all other Microsoft Office applications for communicating with and managing customer interactions; Adobe Flash and InDesign a plus.

JOB COMPLEXITY

Work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.

Job Title: Concierge  

Job Type:                Full-Time

Department:           Campus Safety

Primary Objectives

  • Provide a visual presence to give a sense of safety to students / staff / visitors
  • Insure that all students signed in and out while entering and /or leaving the campus and the correct time is recorded in the Daily Time Sheet form
  • Monitor premises to deter theft, violence, or infractions of school rules
  • Confront kindly the students in infraction and record the facts in the daily log for Director of Enrollment’s daily review.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct hourly rounds and observe parking lots, entrances, garbage area, loading dock, foyer, and admissions to check for unlawful activity or conditions that may endanger students / staff / visitors
  • Be familiar with and understand the school’s emergency action plan and evacuation procedures
  • Secure and monitor the front entrance of the school in case of fire, tornado, etc.
  • React quickly and calmly in dangerous and emergency situations, call 911 if needed
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of students / staff / visitors to guard against theft, get from staff, chef, students proof of ticket of payment of a donation to the Gaston LeNôtre Scholarships for food taken out, and verify that the container is not part of school equipment.
  • Monitor uniform standards
  • Promote effective safety operations for the protection of students / staff / visitors
  • Be present with management at closing
  • Close the gate and door of the facility
  • Verify that no school equipment is leaving the campus without an inventory list approved by Director of Education. Keep a copy of the list, verify the equipment list when the person exits and when the equipment is returned.

Administrative Duties

  • Document / maintain shift log of daily activities
  • Prepare incident reports as necessary and debrief direct supervisor
  • Assist in the la Boutique as needed
  • Insure students and staff carries School  identification at all time
  • Verify that the chef instructors and adjunct faculty use their magnetic cards when entering and especially when leaving the premises, even for just a cigarette break. Confront and report breaches in your daily report.

Job Description

The Culinary Institute LeNôtre is seeking an exceptional high school presenter/admissions rep!
 

If you’re a highly motivated professional with experience in high school recruiting/admissions, proprietary education, public relations, or sales and you have a desire to help others succeed, we want to hear from you. We’re looking for a talented high school presenter/admissions representative to join our school and help us present our professional Diplomas and AAS-Degree programs to students at local high schools. This individual will report to the Admissions Manager.

 Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Contacts high school teachers and counselors to schedule and conduct classroom presentations.
Works with high school counselors and students on scholarship programs.
Attends special programs such as career days/fairs, college nights, and award programs.
Generates prospects from the local area or the assigned high school(s).
Initiates contact with prospective students and sets appointments.
Interviews prospective students and assist admissions department with paperwork in a timely manner.
Assists with start-eligible students in appropriate programs to help ensure that the Campus budget/goals are met.
Conducts individual and/or group tours through the Campus.
Receives/fields telephone inquiries from prospective students.
Supports staff during the admissions process.
Travels as necessary.
Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.

 Job Requirements - Education/Experience Needed:

An Associate’s degree required. (preferably culinary arts degree)
A strong desire to learn and take ownership.
Bilingual prefer but not required
Experience in a sales or training environment preferred.
Must have excellent communication skills and a great work ethic.
Willing to work evenings/Saturdays as needed.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must have a car in good working condition
