Alumni Association

Dear Graduate,

See alumni owned companies and companies where alumni have worked

To assist you with your career, The Culinary Institute LeNotre is sponsoring an alumni association. Through the formation of an alumni association, graduates can stay connected, learn about job placement opportunities, participate in alumni receptions and class reunions, benefit from professional discounts and do exciting projects such as an organic fresh herb and vegetable garden.

Beatrice Carrillo – Alumni Association Secretary

Patricia Burdette, AAS ’09, has been named the new Culinary Institute LeNôtre Alumni Association President. She shares a passion for culinary arts and is bringing this passion to her new position. In a recent interview Patricia shared her vision and enthusiasm for the alumni association.

“I am excited to be named to this leadership position and hope to grow the membership of the alumni association and further our involvement with students and future students of Culinary Institute LeNôtre

Alumni are a great resource for our students. We can take on a Big Brother / Big Sister role where we share our first-hand experiences in the culinary industry offering additional career guidance and a view into what to expect after graduation.  We are a great resource for internships, projects and jobs, and the association is a great way to stay connected to the Institute and to each other.

As alumni, we can help spread the word about the field of culinary arts to prospective students. As an example, there are career days at high schools where our alumni’s stories could be a great source of inspiration and education for students that are either considering the culinary field or don’t know anything about it.

We like to reach out and get more alumni actively involved in these activities and make sure that alumni don’t miss out on these and other opportunities. There are a number of ways to connect with alumni. One way is hosting events that bring alumni and students together on campus, of course done LeNôtre style. I already see the need for regular communications via email announcing important events in the culinary world such as symposiums, lectures and competitions. Social media such as Facebook, Linked In and Twitter are already in use by Culinary Institute LeNôtre and are a fun and informative way to bring the community together. We don’t want anyone to miss out.”

For the Love of our Arts,

Patricia Burdette,
