Below are our strengths identified by the ACF Accreditation Team during their March 2010 visit.
1 - Program Coordinator has a strong academic focus and passion for educational excellence.
2 - Chef Instructors have a very strong background of industry experience and are passionate about cooking and teaching students the proper technique.
3 - Chef Instructors are all ACF certified at the CEC or CEPC level.
4 - The ownership of the school is very committed with strong leadership and dedication to the success of students.
5 - There is an excellent student to teacher ratio which results in an effective educational experience.
6 - The program has an extensive group of support staff that allows the programs to operate efficiently and effectively.
7 - The program is able to have a majority of hands-on training, yet still offer students lecture classes, which together with the lab classes satisfies the ACFEFAC Required Knowledge and Skill Competencies.
8 - Students clearly apply the knowledge they receive in classroom time as evidenced by each day’s presentation of courses. They are passionate about what they are learning, and it shows through in their daily conduct.
9 - The equipment and small wares available for student use is plentiful and well cared for.
10 - The program has an extensive library resource center, as well as online access to databases.
11 - The program experiences a great rate of graduate placement, reaching 92% last year.
