ACF Practical Exam Center  

The CIAML is an American Culinary Federation (ACF) approved practical exam testing center. Certification is an excellent opportunity to sharpen your culinary skills, stay competitive and advance your career.

Exam Center
  • Candidates must complete an application form and be an ACF Member.
  • Registration Fee of $100 paid to the CIAML at least 30 days before the exam day. This fee is non-refundable. In addition to the registration fee, $60 is due on the day of the exam.
  • Cleaning and insurance are provided.
  • Candidates bring all food, pots, pans and tools necessary for the exam.
  • Candidates are encouraged to observe one exam session before taking the exam.
Example Schedule:
  • 2:30 p.m.:  All Report at 1:30 p.m. in Classroom IV.
  • 3:15 p.m.:  Official Briefing with Examiners & Examinees.
  • 3:30 p.m.:  Exam begins.
  • 6:30 p.m.:  Exam ends. (3 hours for CEC).

Allow 15 minutes for plating / serving.

Examinee needs to let the Examiners know when they will be ready for plating during the exam.
